The Change – By Tao
The winds of change begin to roar, the waters beat upon the shore.
The darkness falls, the sun no longer in the halls.
The screams piercing through the ear, so loud it’s all you hear.
Blood runs in rivers down the street, the sight takes you off your feet.
The buildings have crumbled, yet the earth still rumbles.
Around you so much death, it’s hard to catch your breath.
The tears begin to run, you grab the nearest gun.
Your survival instinct kicks in, all they see is but a grin.
No longer shall you hide, your soul will be the guide.
The change is here, all so clear.
For your life you must fight, this is your last rite.
For death lurks ahead, the blood will be shed.
