Rothbard Quotes by Murray Rothbard
“I define anarchist society as one where there is no legal possibility for coercive aggression against the person or property of any individual. Anarchists oppose the State because it has its very being in such aggression, namely, the expropriation of private property through taxation, the coercive exclusion of other providers of defense service from its territory, and all of the other depredations and coercions that are built upon these twin foci of invasions of individual rights.”
Murray Rothbard

“Behind the honeyed but patently absurd pleas for equality is a ruthless drive for placing themselves (the elites) at the top of a new hierarchy of power.”
Murray Rothbard

“This, by the way, is the welfare state in action: Its a whole bunch of special interest groups screwing consumers and taxpayers, and making them think they’re really benefiting.”
Murray Rothbard

“If a man has the right to self-ownership, to the control of his life, then in the real world he must also have the right to sustain his life by grappling with and transforming resources; he must be able to own the ground and the resources on which he stands and which he must use. In short, to sustain his ‘human right.'”
Murray Rothbard

“The libertarian creed, finally, offers the fulfillment of the best of the American past along with the promise of a far better future. Even more than conservatives… libertarians are squarely in the great classical liberal tradition that built the United States and bestowed on us the American heritage of individual liberty, a peaceful foreign policy, minimal government, and a free-market economy.”
Murray Rothbard

“It is clearly absurd to limit the term ‘education’ to a person’s formal schooling.”
Murray Rothbard

“Since the State necessarily lives by the compulsory confiscation of private capital, and since its expansion necessarily involves ever-greater incursions on private individuals and private enterprise, we must assert that the state is profoundly and inherently anti-capitalist.”
Murray Rothbard

The Resident: RIP American Pride

Researchers at the Norc organization in the University of Chicago reported surprising findings in last year’s General Social Survey. In the survey, they ask Americans to put themselves into a class – upper, middle, working, or lower. Over decades, few people have put themselves into the lower class. Last year, that was not the case. The Resident (aka Lori Harfenist) discusses.

NSA Using Copyright Claims To Crush Free Speech

Uploaded with written permission from the producer, Ben Swann. Visit his web page at http://benswann.com/ Can a government agency block criticism by claiming copyright infringement? Sounds a bit ridiculous but it is happening. The NSA is effectively stopping one small business owner from criticism, by claiming that by using its name he has infringed on their copyright. Can they do that? This is a Reality Check you won’t see anywhere else.

Government property is PUBLIC property. In a free country the government IS the people, and the government is OWNED by the people. Everything that is produced by the government is owned by the people. When government claims that they have a copyright they are claiming that they are NOT a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. If there were people who did not already know that, this has now been made quite clear. So who is it that REALLY owns our government?
