Exercise Overview

This exercise will serve as an opportunity for the management and staff that make up your school district’s Incident Command Team along with your community’s response agencies to work through scenario information and injects dealing with an active shooter incident occurring at one of the district’s schools

Exercise Scenario

It is a Thursday afternoon and students are beginning to look forward to the upcoming three day weekend.

At 1:22PM multiple gunshots ring out from the school’s main hallway.

Your school district must now respond to an active shooter situation occurring at one of its schools.

Active Shooter Incident – Preparedness Materials

Access materials on how to prepare for an Active Shooter Incident.

Exercise Participation Information

Your entire Incident Command Team can participate in this exercise for $500.

For your school district to participate in this exercise please complete an Information Request Form. Upon completing the form you will be contacted regarding additional exercise information.

Individual participant registration CLOSES at 12:00PM ET on the day prior to the exercise
