Reckless Congress ‘Declares War’ on Russia
Today the US House passed what I consider to be one of the worst pieces of legislation ever. H. Res. 758 was billed as a resolution “strongly condemning the actions of the Russian Federation, under President Vladimir Putin, which has carried out a policy of aggression against neighboring countries aimed at political and economic domination.”
In fact, the bill was 16 pages of war propaganda that should have made even neocons blush, if they were capable of such a thing.
Stopping Censorship
Creator of ‘Liberty Dollar’ Sentenced to Home Detention
Bernard von NotHaus, who was convicted in 2011 of counterfeiting charges for minting and distributing a form of private money called the Liberty Dollar, has finally been sentenced.
U.S. District Judge Richard Vorhees upheld the conviction but sentenced 70-year old NotHaus to only six months house arrest. Federal prosecutors had asked for a sentence of between 14 and 17 years in prison.
- Police shut down mysterious ‘Oath Keepers’ guarding rooftops in downtown Ferguson In fact, they are volunteers affiliated with a 35,000-member national organization called Oath Keepers. Yale Law School graduate and libertarian Stewart Rhodes said by telephone from Montana that he founded the group in 2009 to protect constitutional rights, including those of protesters confronted by what he described as overly militarized police.
Police questioned group members early in the week and allowed them to stay. But Saturday, after media inquiries, St. Louis County police officers ordered the Oath Keepers to leave the rooftops.
Threatened with arrest for operating without a license, the volunteers argued but eventually left their positions early Saturday, Rhodes said.
Armed ‘Oath Keepers’ Threatened With Arrest for Guarding Ferguson Shops Although business owners are grateful for the protection, the group – which is made up of military, police and public safety officials – has been told by the St. Louis County Police Department to stop or they will be arrested.
Demand Immediate Accountability
‘The time for remorse was when my husband was yelling to breathe’: Eric Garner’s widow lashes out at NYPD cop who put her husband in fatal chokehold Esaw Garner shouted her fiery statement during a press conference after a grand jury in Staten Island decided not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who offered his condolences to the Garner family for their loss. ‘No, I do not accept his apology,’ the widow said, standing next to Rev. Al Sharpton. ‘I could care less about his condolences. My husband is 6 feet under.’

- Charges Dropped For Cop Who Fatally Shot Sleeping 7-Year-Old Girl
In all of the melee resulting from the shooting of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson, the media has overlooked a number of other very important shootings of unarmed civilians by police officers. One of the most egregious offenses is that of Officer Joseph Weekley’s fatal shooting of 7-year-old Aiyana Stanley-Jones.
Officer Weekley recently saw manslaughter charge dropped against him, for shooting the 7-year-old while she slept.
The Detroit police officer had been on trial for involuntary manslaughter who was shot and killed during a 2010 police raid. But early in October, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Gray Hathaway granted a motion which Weekley’s attorney had filed, arguing for the dismissal of the felony charge he faced in the young girl’s death.
The trial was brought to an end while the Michigan Court of Appeals reviewed an emergency appeal of the ruling.
Presiding Judge Michael Talbot issued the order to deny the appeal and allow the judge’s dismal to stand.
“Although I find that the trial court erred in form and substance in granting defendant’s motion for directed verdict, we are barred from reviewing that decision,” Talbot wrote.
A procedural device whereby the decision in a case is taken out of the hands of the jury by the judge.
A verdict is generally directed in a jury trial where there is no other possible conclusion because the side with the Burden of Proof has not offered sufficient evidence to establish a Prima Facie case.
A directed verdict is provided for by federal and state rules of Civil Procedure. In a criminal action, an acquittal may be directed in favor of a defendant, based upon rules of Criminal Procedure

- FBI Report Accidentally Exposes The Severity Of The Police State
A recently published FBI report accidentally proves that while the police claim cops face growing threats from rowdy populations–like in Ferguson–the opposite is true. The report presents law enforcement deaths in 2013.
The report found that across the entire country, only 76 LEOs were killed in “line-of-duty” incidents. 27 died as a result of “felonious” acts and 49 officers died in accidents–namely, automobile (ironically, of the 23 killed in car accidents, 14 were not wearing seat belts–a violation for which cops routinely ticket drivers). More officers die from accidents than actual murders on the job. The report also outright admits that intentional murders of cops were down from 2004 and 2009.
Gov’t Admits Rotavirus Vaccine Can Cause Intussusception, Adds It to Injury Compensation Program
Because the Obama administration quietly announced their plans for 3,400-plus new regulations last week just after Ferguson erupted and just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, a lot of what’s actually going on in that rather long list was already lost and forgotten pretty much the moment it was released.
One regulation worth mentioning has to do with rotavirus vaccines and a condition called intussusception.
Intussusception is a serious condition where part of the intestine slides into an adjacent part of the intestines, and it is the most common abdominal emergency to hit kids under the age of two. Usually the intestines become blocked. This results in the veins becoming compressed, the intestines swelling, and ultimately, obstruction. Reduced blood flow can actually kill the affected intestine, causing it to become gangrenous. Intussusception can cause internal bleeding, and it can even cause the intestine to rupture. Symptoms include cramps and abdominal pain which for infants seems like a colicky reaction, vomiting, and lack of appetite. Failure to catch this condition early or misdiagnosis can lead to death.Babies under a year old are most susceptible to intussusception.
- View Rule
Title: Vaccine Injury Table: Rotavirus Vaccine Within the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program Abstract: This final rule adds intussusception to the Vaccine Injury Table under the category of rotavirus vaccines. The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program allows a family of a child, a person, or their estate to receive monetary compensation if they experience a vaccine-related injury or death after receiving a covered vaccine. Currently, no adverse event is listed on the Vaccine Injury Table for rotavirus vaccines. However, recent data point to a small risk of intussusception, and the rule amends the Vaccine Injury Table to provide for this adverse event. - CDC Issues Flu Vaccine Apology [Video] For the first time we can remember, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are going on the record, saying the flu vaccine won’t work this year. The warning comes just before the busiest part of flu season, in January and February. Unfortunately, there won’t be any refund for any of the patients or insurance companies who spent money on flu shots earlier this fall.

- NASA | CATS in Space Keep Eyes on Atmosphere [Video] NASA Goddard is preparing to demonstrate for the fist time in space, a 3-wavelength, laser remote sensing instrument. The Cloud-Aerosol Transport System or CATS will measure clouds and aerosols in the Earth’s atmosphere. This cost-effective, technology demonstration will be deployed on the International Space Station as early as December 2014.
- Take Your Pick of Lies About Ozone, Methane or Mercury
Is it surprising that the Environmental Protection Agency continues to tell big fat lies about anything it wants to ban, but is reluctant to show the “science” on which the bans are based?
There is currently a piece of legislation under consideration by Congress, the Secret Science Reform Act, to force the EPA to disclose its scientific and technical information before proposing or finalizing any regulation.
This is what Nicolas Loris of The Heritage Foundation had to say regarding the mercury air and toxics rule that the EPA claims would produce $53 billion to $140 billion in annual health and environmental benefits. “The two studies that represent the scientific foundation for 1997 ozone and PM2.5 National Ambient Air Quality Standards are highly questionable and the data concealed, even though the studies were paid for by federal taxpayers and thus should be public property.”
In addition to claims about carbon dioxide as a dreaded “greenhouse” gas, methane is also getting the attention of those opposed to “fracking”, a technique that has provided access to both natural gas and oil. James M. Taylor, a Senior Fellow with The Heartland Institute, a free market think tank, noted in January that “Natural gas has high methane content, but the methane is converted to energy when natural gas is burnt.” Citing U.S. Energy Information Administration data, Taylor noted “The ongoing decline in methane emissions supplements ongoing declines in U.S. carbon dioxide emissions.” Since 2000 both are down between 6% AND 9%.
The EPA is forever claiming billions in “health benefits” that result from their regulations. The public never gets to see the data on which such claims are based. The regulations, however, cost billions.
Against Those Making War Under Color of Lawful Activity
- Mega-Corp Using GMO Ingredients Forced to Drop “100% Natural” Labels
In the latest battle within the food industry over what to call and what not to call “all natural,” mega-corporation General Mills was forced to remove the label “100% Natural” from more than 20 of its products, including its Nature Valley snack bars and crispy squares. This is yet more evidence that the food movement is having a much-needed impact, even on mega-corps such as General Mills.
According to the settlement, General Mills has agreed to stop using the term “100% Natural” on any product that contains more than 0.9 percent of synthetically produced ingredients. These ingredients include things like high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, sodium bicarbonate, and more. Even more importantly, GM says it will no longer use the all natural label on products containing more than 0.9 percent of genetically modified ingredients. - Kellogg’s Cereals: Double Dose of GMO Pesticides & Antibiotics
There is a good reason that Kellogg’s spent over $1,012,552 on media propaganda in California & Washington to defeat voter ballot initiatives that would have required the labeling of GMO foods, and now are contributing again to the defeat of labeling initiatives in Oregon (contributing $250,000).
A consumer recently sent a box of Froot Loops to a lab for genetic testing and found that the corn and soy used in the cereal are 100% RoundUp Ready GMO. So is the sugar. Never mind the other toxic ingredients in the cereal. This means that in one box of Kellogg’s cereal (and likely all their cereals contain similar GMO products), you are dining on a double dose of glyphosate and Bt toxins – glyphosate being patented as an ‘antibiotic’ by Monsanto in 2011.
Kellogg’s has been making cereal since 1898, but I seriously doubt its founders ever thought it would be poisoning the world at breakfast every morning.
- Why Did Vitamins Disappear From Non-GMO Breakfast Cereal?
Remember when Cheerios and Grape-Nuts went GMO-free? That was about a year ago, when their corporate creators announced that these products would no longer contain ingredients made from genetically modified organisms like common types of corn, soybeans or sugar beets.
When they actually arrived on supermarket shelves, though, there was a mysterious change in their list of ingredients. Four vitamins that previously had been added to Grape-Nuts — vitamins A, D, B-12 and B-2 (also known as riboflavin) — were gone. Riboflavin vanished from Cheerios. - Who Made That Flavor? Maybe A Genetically Altered Microbe
For practically our whole history of cooking and eating, we’ve gotten our spices and most flavors (not to mention all of the other basic nutrients that keep us alive) straight from plants.
But researchers and biotech companies are starting to produce some of these nutrients and flavors — especially the high-priced ones — in their laboratories.
Andrew Jones, a graduate student here, holds up a thick glass tube, a little bigger than my thumb, filled with a milky fluid. “You can see the slight change in color,” he says. “It’s a little red. It’s a red compound that we’re producing.”
The tube is teeming with a common and harmless strain of E. coli bacteria. But Koffas and Jones have inserted some extra genes, which were originally identified in plants like raspberries, into these bacteria. “We engineer their genetic circuits so they can produce chemicals for us,” Koffas says
- Support GMO labeling or turn the oil tanker around?
On this foundation of sand, the GMO-labeling movement in America was launched and bankrolled, calling itself a revolution.
People in other countries, many of which have already instituted outright bans on GMOs, look at America and think, “What is wrong with those people?”
They can frame that question because they’re outside the shopping trance.
If you look up the major funders of the GMO-labeling ballot initiatives, you’ll see that they, too, are outside the trance. They’re businessmen, and they sell non-GMO food to the shoppers.
They have a (self-serving) vision: when enough foods products in stores are labeled, consumers will choose the non-GMO products and put Monsanto out of business.
That will happen when a feather beats away a monsoon.
- Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars
- The people know that they have created this farce and financed it with their own taxes (consent), but they would rather knuckle under than be the hypocrite.
Factor VI – Cattle
Those who will not use their brains are no better off than those who have no brains, and so this mindless school of jelly-fish, father, mother, son, and daughter, become useful beasts of burden or trainers of the same. - Mr. Rothschild’s Energy Discovery
What Mr. Rothschild [2] had discovered was the basic principle of power, influence, and control over people as applied to economics. That principle is “when you assume the appearance of power, people soon give it to you.”
