Grammy’s Rocket Chair – The FREEKER Friday Edition!

As FREEKER Fridays go, Today was definitely par for the course! A little over an hour before I was due to Go LIVE I got a Phone Call…. “I’m broke down, will you please come pick me up and take me to the other Field Pickup?”….. Now I know I joke about living in The Booneys…… but I’ll bet y’all had No Idea that there are multiple levels of Booneys…… and My Rescue Mission took me from Booney Level 1 to Level 8 in just a little over 30 miles! And the Directions were also Par for the Course….. “Go South until the road curves to the West, then in a couple miles there’s a road that goes South again….. you’ll probably miss it, I usually do….. and No, I don’t remember the Name of the Country Road! Then when you go South, you’ll go over a few hills & then the road will go straight and also curve to the West again….. Don’t go South…… that’s a Crappy Road! Go another couple miles & you’ll see me at the top of the hill.” I swear….. the only thing missing in his directions was “Turn right at the old burned out school house that isn’t there anymore”! btw, y’all got the Readers Digest Condensed Version of the directions…… I don’t think I could repeat the Full Version again if I tried! :p

Oh Well….. needless to say, I accomplished My Mission…… nothing Self Destructed…… and I was able to climb in my Rocket Chair a little later than usual…… although, my little sojourn to Booney Level 8 (not quite the Edge of the World but the Road Signs are Clearly Marked….. it was Close) did set a definite “Meandering” Tone (more so than usual even for Me) for the evening….. I hope I didn’t lose too many of you on those sharp Right Turns. 😉
