Grammy’s Rocket Chair on a Wet & WHACKY Wednesday!
Thinking back on my recent shows, I’ve realized that I keep coming back to the Same Thought Process…… That there IS a difference between What One BeLIEves, What is True and What is The Truth! Well, here is My Breakdown…..
When One BeLIEves In Something (Person or Idea)…. FACTS are Not Necessary but a Strong Mental or Emotional Attachment Is! Feelings & Faith play a Major Role is what One BeLIEves….. That’s not necessarily a Bad Thing UNLESS when Confronted with FACTS, That BeLIEf digs in it’s heels and Dismisses (sometimes Violently) those FACTS and the One Presenting Them…… Much like Elizabeth Warren when she Claims to be “Native American”…… She has NO Factual Evidence to Support her BeLIEf, Yet she clings to it!
When talking about What is True…… imho, that is a case of Having Facts and yet Only Using the Ones that Support Your Version. It’s a Conditional way of looking at things…… Much like all this Global Warming/Climate Change Nonsense! “Scientists” asked “Leading Questions”….. Gathered Data…… and then Compiled it in such a way that it Supported Their “Preconceived Notion”…….. I reference the “Hockey Stick” that They kept Claiming “Proved” Their Hypothesis……. which, given the limited parameters, it Did…… but it was Conditional!
Now, when it comes to The Truth…… well……. The Truth doesn’t Care what You BeLIEve…… The Truth doesn’t Care about Your Conditions…… It Matters Not One Iota if The Facts/Data are Ugly or Inconvenient…… The Truth Wants It ALL and it Refuses to Bend to The Whims of Expediency or Political Correctness! It’s much like the Honey Badger…… The Truth just don’t Care…. It IS what It IS!
I will be the First to Admit that I Really Don’t KNOW “The Truth, The Whole Truth & Nothing But The Truth” about what’s going on in this reality……. but I Do KNOW that My Spidey Senses are Tingling like CrAzY whenever I hear or read an Edict from On High. Those who Are or have been Indoctrinated By “The Leeches That Be” have been Feeding ALL of Us a Line of B.S. for YEARS….. I KNOW this by How They React to someone Calling Them Out on that B.S……. They whip out the Dismissive, Belittling, Slurring and Sometimes Threatening Rebuttals without offering up a Single Fact…… Usually accompanied by “How DARE You Question Their Authority?!?” That’s when you know you’ve Touched a Nerve…… or as I’ve been told they said in War, “You know you’re over the Target when you start catching Heavy Flack!”
My advice to y’all…… Don’t “BeLIEve” Anything……. Instead, Do Your Own Research, Learn Everything You Can, Be Willing to Accept New Information & Throw Out what You KNOW to Be False. Exercise Your Critical Thinking Muscle as often as possible….. You’re Gonna Need It!
