On May 31, 2025, Vincent Easley II interviewed Ammon to address their brief presence, their removal from the property, and the circumstances surrounding their actions. Below is the transcript of that interview.

Vincent Easley II: All right, so tell me a little bit about the Millers, Jerad and Amanda Miller. Were they actually at the ranch during the protest?

Ammon: They were not at the ranch during the protest. They came the next day, after the protest was over. And when they came, they brought a lot of extreme views and ideas that were not part of what we were doing. So we asked them to leave. We told them, "Look, your views don't align with ours, and you need to go."

Stewart Rhodes from Oath Keepers actually gave them some money and bought them a hotel room so that they could get off the property and have a place to stay.

Vincent Easley II: Right.

Ammon: And then, a few weeks later, is when they went to Las Vegas and shot those two police officers.

Vincent Easley II: Right.

Ammon: But what people don't realize is that the FBI and local police were already talking to them. I am convinced, without a doubt, that the FBI and local law enforcement had met with them before all of that happened in Las Vegas.

Vincent Easley II: Absolutely. They manipulate these people.

Ammon: They find people who are mentally unstable or vulnerable, and they use them. They manipulate them into doing these things so they can push their own agenda, justify their budgets, and make it look like they're needed to protect the public from these threats that they basically helped create.

Vincent Easley II: Exactly. It's all about justifying their own existence and their control.

Ammon: That's right. But at the end of the day, these law enforcement officers and officials who are doing this, they are going to have to answer to God for what they've done. Every single one of them will stand before God and answer for it.

In an official briefing following the June 8, 2014, shooting, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill provided details regarding the actions and background of Jerad and Amanda Miller.

According to LVMPD's investigation, the couple ambushed Officers Igor Soldo and Alyn Beck at a CiCi's Pizza before entering a nearby Walmart, where they killed armed citizen Joseph Wilcox and died during a subsequent shootout with responding officers.

Addressing media coverage and public inquiries surrounding the incident, Assistant Sheriff McMahill outlined the physical evidence recovered at the scene—including a "Don't Tread on Me" flag and a swastika placed on Officer Beck—and confirmed that while local and federal authorities had prior contacts with Jerad Miller regarding minor incidents and witness statements, investigators found no actionable indications of intent to commit mass violence prior to the attack.
